Who listens to Soulja boy?
Not me. I personally think that Soulja Boy practically writes pointless lyrics, just another young gun trying to earn cash by releasing tracks that a lot of teenagers would enjoy and listen to frequently (don't worry, I have not been, and never will be brainwashed by Soulja Boy's "rapping").
The only good track that I have heard by Soulja Bopy which everyone aorund me is addicted to, is obviously Crank That.
However, I do enjoy listening to 50 Cent and a lot of people critsize fiddy and think that he is too cokcy. But I mean, 50 Cent has every right to be arrogant and think he is the number 1 man. His first album sold somehting like $11 mill, which is pretty impressive.
Anyway, about the 2Pac songs. Both are extremely well writen and are captivating and actually sends the message across. That is why I love to listen to 2Pac, he actually wrote lyrics in which had a propper message. Which is the positive alternative to the raps that are being released in the modern society or culture of rap/hip-hop.
Barely any of the modern day rappers of today try and send aorund a message, it is all gangster rap as of late, which I honestly like but, noone, I repeat no rapper will ever EVER make such an impact as what 2Pac did. Just too bad that he is dead, that really blows!
Dude...you can't change people's perceptions unless they are of a mind to have them changed. And when that is the case they will seek out the music. But don't try to force your music on others....it doesn't work.
For the record....I like some Tupac.
