I dont know much about these guys but I have heard a couple of songs. What would you guys recomend, and what are some other thrash metal bands that I can enjoy instead listening to metallica and megadeth over and over.

For Thrash bands; have you listened to Nevermore? Really good stuff if you ask me. :)

By Anthrax; Try the album Spreading the Disease. One of their earlier stuff, also some good old thrash there.. :)

Atheist has a good, although limited discography. Annihilator and Slayer also come to mind.

I highly recommend Mercyful Fate/King Diamond but you may not find them thrash persee.

My favorite Anthrax is Fistful of Metal... it's more of a speed metal album, but Among the Living is the best of the Joey era Anthrax

Slayer - Show No Mercy >>>>their most melodic and speed metalish album, so if you dig early Metallica, then I don't see why anyone wouldn't love this, of course their later stuff got heavier, darker and faster but I think you would like this the most

Kreator - Coma of Souls >>>>their last great album, but it blows away their previous 2, they dropped all their Black and Death elements and just made a ripping fun, melodic Thrash album with this...

Sepultura - Arise >>>>their last straight forward Thrash album, with slight hints of Death Metal still in there, but this is a great album through and through

Testament - The Legacy >>>>my favorite Testament, catchier songs than the rest of their 80's stuff.. the later stuff pretty much just rips off Metallica, you might enjoy those too, but The Legacy is where it's at...

Liege Lord - Master Control >>>>great catchy Power / Thrash

Holy Terror - Terror and Submission>>>>some of the best melodic thrash ever written, EVER

Annihilator - Alice in Hell>>>>kinda techy and very melodic Thrash

Dark Angel - Darkness Descend>>>>very fast, agressive thrash, but still melodic enough you might dig it

others to check out: Razor, Shah, Whiplash, Death Angel, Artillery, Anacrusis, Blind Illusion, Nuclear Assault, Overkill, Exodus, Forbidden, Vio-Lence, Hallows Eve, Heathen, Laaz Rockit, Wrathchild America, Armored Saint, At War, Bitter End (sounds alot like Megadeth), Coldsteel, Cyclone Temple, Destructor, Flotsam & Jetsam (first 2), Hades (first 2), Metal Church, Nasty Savage,  Ulysses Siren

The Pixies, Pavement, and Radiohead...

I realize they're not even remotely metal.
