So here's a thing I've been wondering for a while, how many corporations does it take for someone to run an anti-corporate blog. I think there are a number of elements that need to be considered:

1. Computer - If using a Mac or Google computer I think the Computer and Operating System are made by the same company. Using a PC, the Computer and Operating system are from different companies (In my case Dell and Microsoft)

2. Computer accessories - Mouse, Keyboard etc. These may be made by the same company as the computer or by a different one. For example the computer may be made by Dell, but the mouse may be made by Logitech.

3. Web browser - This may be made by the same people who make the OS and/or the computer. The most common browsers are probably Internet Explorer (Microsoft), Chrome (Google), Firefox (this one might not be corporate), or Safari (Apple).

4. Internet (ISP) - usually American Telephone and Telegraph, Southern Bell Corporation (They took the name of AT&T after buying AT&T), Southern New England Telephone Network (Currently owned by AT&T/SBC), Verizon or Comcast.

5. Router - companies such as SBC, or 2wire. Also some other companies may be involved, such as Excelsus Tech which makes DSL filters so you don't hear noise on your phones.

6. Web hosting sites

Also why do so many people dislike corporations and think they're evil? Is a corporation any more bad than a propietary business?

Yep. One thing I dislike about "Occupy Wallstreet" and their affiliates is their use of the word "occupy" in their names. When I hear the word occupy followed by the name of a territory, I usually think of military occupation of enemy territory. I don't think we should consider any part of America to be "enemy territory" that needs to be "occupied". I don't necessarily know if that is the meaning intended by Occupy Wallstreet, but that is what I think of when I hear the term.

That's basically what they did, and just ended up hurting all the small business's in the area and hampered the ability of people to go to work.  And cost cities thousands of dollars in clean up because they were literally sh!tting in the street

Quite foolish really they were. Imagine what they could've done with that time and energy instead.

Okay, now I never want to hear anyone criticize the government if they use roads or any other infrastructure or services built by the government. Deal?

I guess it would depend what they're criticizing the government for.  if you're some occupier blogging/protesting about wallstreet and how all corporations are evil, it's a bit hypocritical to then start playing angry birds on your ATT iPhone

What if the roads have potholes, or are too narrow? Fine, if we can't criticize the government we can criticize the administration.

I think those things are directed at corporations who engage in unhealthy business like Oil, Weapons. But then again, even a company like microsoft, if not properly checked can do a whole host of damage. The corporation is a social construct, thing is, it isnt a perfect one so its weakness tend to have massive impact on others. Another way of looking at it is corporations are not evil, well since their activities are guided by humans, if you get what i mean

Many anti-corporate bloggers simply want a market with a fair competition. I don't see what's so stupid about that.

To be honest I'm not sure even the occupiers knew what they were protesting.  But they arent just protesting big oil or weapons, they really think that "all" corporations are evil and take advantage of the "99%"

Yes. A corporation or a government is only as virtuous or as vicious as the people who run it.

Plus they is no such real entity as the "99%" in the sense that people do not all align themselves into camps or teams based on their economic status. Moreover why "99%" vs "1%" and not "98" vs "2%" or "95%" vs "5%".

Yeah the majority of the protesters are just followers of what someone believes in, which if critically examined may not be in their interest. But also there is a bit of truth about ''all corporations'' being evil cause as mentioned before, their activities are guided by people (usually a minority). Why i said there is a bit of truth with the ''all corporations are evil'' statement is that if you look at humans idea of what a good life is, its very different to what a corporation sees as a good life, if you know what i mean

Complaining about this is like blaming the people who complain about socialism of using public roads or public services. We live in a world ruled by corporations so avoiding them is almost impossible. That doesn't mean their role can't be criticized or that people who complain about them want them to die or disappear completely.

This is quite true, although I think that better business practices and a government that listens to those who try to make things better for the global 99% can factor into reducing global poverty.  If we can curb our consumerism at home then we can start taking more benevolent attitudes towards global competition.  That being said, I do think a lot of OWSers either ignore this or don't have this reflected in their daily lives.  Again, though, tu quoque.

awful logic i guess no one ever had the right to change anything. Caplitalists are robbing the whole world blind but you dont have the right to be upset about it because you have a big brand pc. They have no choice but to use these machines. What do you expect them to do? live in the forest and yell from the tree tops?
