what was the worst experience you've ever had with ant problems?

I get them every year around June/July since owning my house. The first year was the worst since I didn't know what to do. They were using my wires as some kind of ant autobahn between my office and the living room. I cleaned every night to try and discourage them but they'd find the one crumb I missed without fail and swarmed on it.
Now I put down traps and they're gone within a day or two.
I had ants every summer in my old house, and let me say this, put you're peanut butter in the fridge, it's not safe otherwise.

Hard. Especially if you get the natural stuff. I like jiff myself but either way you go it won't spread like it should.

at least that would be better than accidently leaving it out on a hot day and then end up having it all soft wet and gooey lol
