Any animes worth watching II

I had trouble with the last thread...since every one bombarded me with their own collection of favouriteanime(I literally spent hourslooking up the anime fromtop to bottom and I still haven't finished the list yet)so this time I'm restricting the genres by alot.(This time please restrain to 1-3 animes pls :P )

Fruits Basket. It's funny and yet tugs the heartstrings. There's no gore or nudity to speak of whatsoever, though there is a little language here and there (definitely on a low level compared to the stuff you've seen, though).

I love When They Cry more than any other anime I've ever seen, but if you don't like gore then I'm not sure if you'd like this. There's nothing too explicit, but there's plenty of blood and *SQUISH* sounds. It can be quite the mind ****.

Oh, and Case Closed, which is a detective anime. It's drawn-out, but very entertaining.

And though some people will insist to the grave that it isn't anime, Avatar: the Last Airbender is fantastic for a kid's show and is designed in the same way as any other anime--it just wasn't made in Japan.

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei is an interesting show that has multiple storylines per episode and isn't too heavy on the blood department. There's virtually zero swearing also but there is a little bit of saucy content. However, as a whole it would be right up your alley if you like random comedy.

Ninja Scroll is one of my favorite anime movies. It's older but you'll love it.A true classic. It does have gore and nudity though.

Getting back on topic you should realy check into Gungrave. It was created from the ps2 game and is such a great series since it shows a realy deep side of a mob family and how a young man climbs up the ranks with his friend(s), but the the story takes a dramatic turn of fate.

As far as I know that particular visual novel doesn't have an English patch yet so unless you can read Japanese you're SOL. Even if you could read Japanese, to get the game legally would cost well over $70-90.

Watch a Studio Ghibi/Hayao Miyazaki film. For the most part, they're all great. Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky, Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke, Grave of the Fireflies "not Miyazaki but Ghibli", My Neighbor Totoro, Castle of Cagliostro, the list goes on...

Hmmm...TC, judging from your tastes (which happen to be very similar to mine) I think you should try Darker than Black. Its a thriller/action anime and is kind of similar to the TV show Hero's.

I would suggest Neon Genesis Evangelion, but that a somewhat old show. Through they are remaking the series into movies, so you should keep a eye of those, since you seem to love sci-fi anime.

Uh it not really kid friendly in some spots. It has some suggestive themes, and a couple other references. The manga is even worse lol. And the beginning of the show is kinda meh, but it gets much better and more funnier IMO.
