I'm curious what your go-to coffee brand/type is.
I've been looking for good alternatives to arabica, and found some Vietnamese Robusta coffee http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008A0AGJ2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I got my coffee from Aldi, cheap in a big can, gotta drink em every morning. Stop at Dunkin Donut when I have time.. Vietnamese coffee are my fave, awesome taste, strong, my childhood coffee.
I just like good old original Maxwell House. Two cups, every morning and I'm good until noon, at which time I switch over to tea.
I prefer Kenyan AA beans, and I prefer to get Whole beans and grind them myself right before use.
But yeah the East asian beans seem to gain a foothold, they tend to be petty good on average :)

Yeah, thats what I've been hearing. Folgers and Maxwell House are terrible by comparison. I've never tried Kenyan AA coffee, that will probably be next on the list.

Some days I drink as many as 20 cups of coffee LOL but most days I control myself :P
I'm a coffee addict! My favorite coffee is Colombian it's so good, my coffee shop of choice is Starbucks or as I call it coffee dream land lol :P
I've never gone to Starbucks, but I hear they serve mostly dark roasts, not a fan of dark roast coffee.
No, but I like Gevalia dark roast and Starbucks Sumatra. I got some Folgers for the first time last week to taste it, but I have been exclusively drinking Gevalia while at home. I will get to it, eventually.
Coffee without any extra ingredients is quite tasty. Sugar makes it sweet, but too much sugar can lead to diabetes. Milk has protein, but even in the form of skim milk, it is extra calories. For those reasons, I usually drink coffee without additional ingredients.

Same here, I only drink coffee black with no sugar.
Alternatives to Coffea arabica?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coffea#Species
Of those species with articles there is the Robusta (C. liberica/canephora). Most coffees are just different roasts of Arabica/Robusta beans from different regions.
Personally, I will only drink dark roast coffee. I much prefer the heartier/smokier flavour to the higher bitterness of a medium roast. The best dark roasts have hints of citrus.

If Robusta can taste just as good as a good arabica, and is cheaper, I may switch.
I can't drink dark roast coffee, it always tastes burnt to me lol medium dark is as far as I'll go, but prefer medium roast.
i discovered hasbean coffee a couple of years back and haven't really looked back
they do a subscription service where you get a different coffee every month or so. the website itself hasbean.co.uk is interesting and good read if you want to find a new cup to try
just discovered india bibi coffee which has a slight spice to it. its pretty interesting
kenya kaganda is a nice fruity one as well
Ok, I just tried the Vietnamese Robusta coffee, and holy damn, I don't think there is an Arabica coffee that comes close to this!
Still looking for sth that would keep me awake for like 24hours straight ! It's like nothing works on me ....wanna feel energetic when i wake up early in morning with like 4 hours sleep, but nothing works significantly ....
Try Death Wish coffee lol.
I've pretty much banned myself from coffee. I'm always tired and I love the taste of coffee but i'm pretty adamant about not being addicted to anything. It's probably the one thing I've tried and thought "Yeah, this is something I could get addicted to doing." So I just stay away.
Yeah kind of and it ruins my health and diet plans. I get a cup in the morning, probably with more cream than i should. Another at some point in the middle of the day and usually one more sometime in the evening. If its on a weekend day, i might drink more than that.
I did try to replace it with green tea bought from Costco but that didnt work. Not because of taste or sugar addiction but because it didnt seem to be as effective at keeping me awake. I tend to get somewhere between 4 - 6 hours of sleep because all my game time has to occur at night due to work and family obligations in the day. So that means cafine is rather important to me. Not sure what i should do at this point.
Yea I'm kind of addicted to coffee. It started when I picked up smoking and after I quit it intensified. I drink a few coffee mugs a day. I only drink blback coffee with no sugar or anything although I do enjoy the occasional cappuccino. As for species well I really wouldn't know about that I just stick with whatever brand that I find palatable enough without breaking my wallet. I would like to taste different coffee species and see if their differ that much from one another.
