If you can find them, go for either Perdition City, Blood Inside, or Shadows of the Sun. All by Ulver.

Everything Infected Mushroom has put out after their first two albums is outstanding, imo. You can't go wrong with that band.

Ohter than that I can recommend Discovery by Daft Punk.

Definitely get The Field - From Here We Go Sublime. It fits what you're looking for perfectly.

This. Great to see another Ulver fan. Perdition City is on my top 10 list of albums of the 2000s

But I highly doubt that's the style of music the OP had in mind :(

Great suggestions. I'd like to add Crystal Castles' self-titled and Borgore's Gorestep Vol 1.1.

Armin Van Buuren - A state of trance (there are like six volumes so pick any, they're all good :P)
The first 2 Daft Punk albums (if you can find them)
The Prodigy - Music For The Jilted Generation (I think that's the album's name)
Simian Mobile Disco - Temporary Pleasure

:)
