is there anyone else here who likes Japanese music? if so, what are your favorite bands? mine are Sex Machineguns, Maximum the Hormone, The Pillows, and The Seatbelts (not sure if they count)
I've heard one song from Sex Machineguns, but I have no idea what it was, some girl just showed it to me in my French class, but it sounded pretty cool.
I'm a big fan of it. there are literally less than 10 songs on my iPod that are english. favorite artists and bands consist of Nightmare, Maximum the Hormone, Aya Hirano, KOTOKO, High & Mighty Color, YURIA, FLOW, and lots and lots of others. I've found this song to be pretty addicting (though I don't like their music vids, the music flat out rocks)
 ... how in the **** do you guys listen to that - I thought this was a joke topic - I clicked one of those links expecting to be rickroll'd - dear god - I cringed and shuddered - I am going to the gas station now because it makes me want to drink
man, you guys are weird. i would understand if you understood the language.. but tha language is too distractingly annoying for me to be a fan of this. its understandable even if it was the intro music for dragon ball z.. i mean come on, i love that but i couldnt get into the genre.

I'm a fan, i like Jrock, Jmetal, and some Jpop, but not much though I also heard most bands from Animes i have seen. My favorite band(s) are The Pillows, Asian Kung Fu Generation, Alice Nine, Maximum the Hormone, Uverworld, D'espairsRay, Merry, L' Arc en Ciel, Abingdon Boys School, and, X Japan

Not everybody shares your opinion. I'm sorry if you've been under that false impression.
ive only just started getting into Japanese music, but really the only one im familiar with right now is Envy (2, 3) (myspace was the only place i could find some)
