Any mainstream entertaiment you're not too big on?

I'm talking games, music, movies, books, ect.

Myself I despise books and other than comedies I can't get into any other movies.I guess if a movie isn't funny to me I don't have the patience to get into the story.

Mainstream music I hate (Indie, Emo, Punk etc etc) erm also I don't like Skaters.KingKoop

Ehh, is thats what considered mainstream these days? Give me the classics like AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Bob Segar, Hootie and the Blowfish, ect. I'm not big on any of the new music.

Most TV, most mainstream music, most movies, video games (for the most part).

Well for me: mainstream music is crap, mainstream TV is crap, mainstream radio is crap, mainstream games...are crap, etc.

I'm really not a mainstream person. To me, it seems that most of the things that are 'popular' ususally lack any proper and meaningful substance that are cheap and mass-appealing quirks.

To illustrate my point:
- music: pop - rushed, cheap and lifeless
- TV: reality TV shows - brain-numbing to watch and also very tedious
- radio: most mainstream radio station play the mainstream music
- games: movie tie ins and, to an extent, sports games released year after year after year after year after... The former are usually rushed and dire; the latter, well...they're all the same.

I like to look outside the box.

I tend to agree with this. Mainstream entertainment gives me nausea, except Gears of War and Halo, i love those :)

Mainstream music.  Well! They all it music, sounds like crap.

Yep, predictable response, but I just find the majority of it bland/uncreative.
