Btw, how in the **** do you say Chiodos?!?!?! I pronounce it how it sounds, but my girlfriend says they pronounce it like Chaos and I just CANNOT see that
Matt-4542
That's not how you say it. It's che-o-dos.
I like Define The Great Line. I really like Lost In The Sound Of Seperation.

Serioulsy, get the new Underoath album. You won't regret it.
What's their new album called? I liked a couple of their old songs, Reinventing your exit was good.Brainkiller05
Lost In The Sound Of Seperation.
I pronounce chiodos, Shy-o-dos, I dunno if that's right though xD
Annnd I would really recommend the CD:) I have the 3 with Spencer in. "There Only Chasing safety" "The Great Line Defined" and now "lost in the sound of separation" and this new one is by far the most epic. Best way i can describe it :)
I'm not gonna lie. I think Underoath is the worst band I've ever heard. But alas, that is only my opinion.thecaper77http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukjnrXTTvPYIhope that changes your opinion of the worst band you have ever heard.
[QUOTE="SuperVegeta518"][QUOTE="-Katsuri-"]I never heard of them, am I a sad person?-Katsuri-It depends on what kind of music you listen to.Anything really, ranging from rock to hard metal and even pop rarely. You probably should have then. They're post-hardcore which is somewhere between mainstream rock and metal.

Ah, i while Define the great line is an awesome album, I preferred their only chasing safety. But this one is by far my fave of the three:)

AH very true. My first Underoath CD was Deffine the Great Line, it took a long time for me to warm to it.
ive resisted this for a while but i have to clear some things up.
to anyone who thinks aaron gillespies ever screamed. hes only done backup vocals. underoath has 6 albums i know of.
a screamer named dallas taylor screamed on the first three.. they are acts of depression, cries of the past, and the changing of the times (yes he now is in maylene and the sons of disaster) youtube "when the sun sleeps" video to here him.
spencer has screamed on the next three...which are. there only chasing safety, define the great line and lost in the sound of seperation. i dont think there is any question about the second two. so youtube reinventing your exit to see him front and center screaming. aaron is the only original member of the group and has done great backup vocals on all three.
just had to get that off my chest sry
i like pretty much all there stuff. there oldest stuff is a little too chaotic but its all good in my opinion
Underoath used to be one of the most amazing bands ever. It wasn't only their deathcore stuff that I liked, the Changing of times album was rather screamo, but it was just that Dallas was a million times more talented. Anything after 2002 excluding a few songs on Define the great line I'm not really a fan of. I think I'll give their newest album one more listen though.
Oh and Real UnderOath: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEeCINeZ1zM(fastfoward to 1:35 if you can't handle the beginning:P)

I usually can't stand deathcore, but I listen to it once a month or so, whenever the mood strikes.
