Why does everyone think it's a remake? The Clone Wars lasted for years, it involved thousands of plotlines. In short, no. blackngold29 is right, if they made a movie of the whole thing it would be endless. like WWII they don't show the whole war, they show the good stuff like the battle of normady. They don't show the U.S. and brits fighting in Africa exept in movies the history teacher shows you.

It's not cashing in, Lucas get wrongly abused so often it's crazy. Star Wars fans would go to any style movie about era of the story.
I actually like the new trilogy better. And I like alot of anime (Bleach, Blood+, InuYasha, Samurai 7, more) But I despise some (Ones involving giant robots or a 90% female roster, most of the being magic.)

So are you more of an original trilogy guy or what?
Original trilogy. The new trilogy just couldn't get the dialogue right at all and nearly ruined every movie. I thought the prequels were pretty good. Not as good as the originals, but still good. They were way to overhyped, though.
