dont worry about it. When you go to college or get older youll notice what you now think is important, really wasnt and isnt a big deal. That someone you will meet one day, dont worry.

I understand the depression after a break up, but overall, you should have close friends to support you when you're feeling down.

it isnt easy, really. Especially in a girl you like, most wont give you the time of day despite how nice you may be due to your looks or the way your presented yourself, she may not like.
I've only been on a "date" or two before, but I'm still only 15 and have yet to actually worry about that. I'm not actually looking for a girlfriend right now. I like to have girls as friends instead.

Same here. I've had a few girlfriends though. One of them that I really liked cheated on me with my best friend. Since then I've decided not to get caught up in having a girlfriend. Besides, with aspirations of becoming a Marine Force Recon Scout Sniper I have no desire to get committed in such a way.

As we grew older we grew different. We constantly did not see eye to eye and argued all the time. She was more like a friend that I couldn't live without than anything. We also have different dreams and ambitions in life. I want to move off and go from place to place working in churches. She wanted to remain in our hometown and be a school teacher the rest of her life. The relationship possibly could have worked in the end but we would never be as happy as we could be with other people. ...she was too loud for my tastes too.
It was my most recent relationship that was the most trying relationship. We got along great and had many of the same passions in life. I was preparing to buy an engagement ring even. She broke off the relationship. I ended up grieving loosing her longer than we even dated. I'm a lot better now thankfully. :D

Because the ones that live in my town near me are actually good to talk to, I have a pretty troubled life even though I don't present that to my male friends, so they're the ones I open up to because they could care less about emotions. And I have a couple of go to girls to talk to primarily about girls.

This. It was much more important to me to get through high school and into the university that I wanted to get into. When the right person comes around, then I'll give it some thought.
I'm 21 and never had a real date, but I'm not exactly yearning for one, either. I dunno, I've just never made girls a priority. If I met the right person, I'd make time for them, but until I do, I'm just too busy.
I'm 22 and I haven't, unless you count prom, and being a wingman numerous times. I haven't been on a date I've wanted to be on, with someone I wanted to be with, because frankly, I'm not ready for it.
I'm 19 and I didn't go on a proper date till early this year, when I moved out of my parents house. In school, most of my girlfriends were going on dates since they were like 14, but no guy ever asked me out :(. Eventually, I just swallowed my pride and asked a guy out myself.

Im 5 weeks away from 22 and I havent had a girlfriend. Ive basically given up on the notion of it entirely at this point, although sometimes I catch myself stupidly being lulled into a false sense of hope.
Live in aus and you will see that there is no dating, its generally just pub, pick up, maybe something else if you know what i mean ;) then thats it, well for me and my friends anyway.
