Anyone bored at work?

Anyone else stuck at work all night and bored out of their minds?

I suppose I am being paid to cruise gaming forums so thats OK but it still doesn't stop being boring.

Anyone have any interesting stories they want to relate?

I have one where my neighbor's daughter murdered her and left her to rot in the hatchback of her car for a month while still living at the house.

I posted on GS during work when I had a job :P

That's not why I don't work there anymore though :P

I make a drug called Kepivance. Used to make Epogen and Aranesp, those are a little more popular. This one is really slow so tonight we don't have anything to do.

I quit....two of my bosses left and the new bosses came in....I didn't like them....so i quit :P 2nd job I've quit on.....

Yeah, it's the perfect job except it's at night...

Hopefully we'll be a little more busy when we switch drugs again.

This is the only place I've worked at where they have 'snack time'. Mondays and Thursdays they bring out packages of chips and cookies.

Also DOUBLE matching 401k. If I can just stand the boredom I am set for life.

I work in the IT department of a big chemistry company.

Basically...as long as the users PC work normally...I got nothing to do and I get bored :)

A courier? Do you ride a bike around and deliver packages to people?

Or is it more long distance and you bring livers/eyeballs on ice ala the Simpsons?

Yeah some bosses suck. Luckily mine is cool and very lazy. He does less work than the rest of the team.

LOL, believe me, once you'll have a job, you'll wish you were back in high-school :p

High school was awesome. Now we actually have less freedom due to work/wife/kid. Actually I guess college was even better for the freedom aspect.

I have a bunch of SOPs to read for work and they are utter rubbish. Anyone else have SOPs at work?

No. I love my job. Coaching Taekwondo is fun sometimes :P

There was this one boy I'll never forget. We were teaching kids how to use the axe kick in self defence and what youre supposed to do is raise your leg to touch the side of your face. So he raised his leg a bit too far from the side, kicked his face and made his nose bleed :lol:
