Seeing as how they track their users and all, I am not comfortable browsing with Chrome.
How do you feel about them tracking you?

Didn't know that. Good thing I use Firefox for porn, that way my normal browser (Chrome) never has any "unusual" listings in the user history LOL. Thank God for CC Cleaner too :D

I use firefox for regular browsing and chrome for porn, but I keep it on incognito mode at all times.
I don't care. Chrome runs efficiently and better than any other browser I've used. I have nothing to hide. What am I to be afraid of? Google employees giggling at the idea I watch porn? Who cares. Dedicated websites still hide your personal information (like passwords) so it doesn't matter. Besides, I'm sure other browsers track your stuff too.
I use firefox for absolutely everything!
When Firefox 4 came and looked like it belonged in W7, i was the happiest man around.
Looks like crap in XP, but i only use that for work. Roll on the full version of Firefox4
I have no use for chrome at all.

I use what ever my computer lets me. So right now it's Safari. What's the difference in all of them?
They track their users? From what I know, Google used to monitor their users on Chrome but they have since stopped after complaints came in. That's the official story anyway. For users who wish to play it safe, there's Chromium, Iron, or Flock. They look like Chrome, act like Chrome, but aren't owned by Google. All extensions compatible with Chrome are compatible with them too.
Proof?
I wouldn't touch it with a twenty foot pole if thats true.Pixel-Pirate

there will be compatibility issues with the add-ons, but it is only in Beta.
I can't use auto-reload because i'm using FF4beta. but i'll leave with it for now, add-ons are being added all the time.

Firefox just won't recognise when I press "Enter" or click the blue arrow to visit a website anymore, so I have to leave it disabled. This makes me sad. The fourth beta of Firefox 4 will release on 20/08/2010, though.
How is FF4 by the way? in major changes?GazaAliIt's faster for sure. It feels less heavy than Firefox 3.6.8 as well. The user interface was heavily inspired by Opera's. Firefox 4 will come with TabCandy as standard. Some extensions aren't compatible yet. The favicons now show loading progress, which is fancy. There are also some technical advancements under the hood such as better HTML5 support and multi-touch support. It also shows all your tabs in separate thumbnails now when you put your cursor on the window in Windows 7, another idea inspired by Opera. I suggest you give it a shot. It's pretty stable.

It's pretty stable. you encouraged me. Is ABP compatable? Also a random question, why does FF fail to view some web pages sometimes? Like in my university personal page, we have some drop menus that look like **** in FF, but function perfectly in IE.[QUOTE="GazaAli"]How is FF4 by the way? in major changes?Hexagon_777

You won't even need Add-on Compatibility Reporter to get it to work. Moving on, I have the same issue you speak of at work as well. It's just that some organisation specific stuff is written purely for IE.

[QUOTE="TroubleMaker411"]cool, howstable is the BETA?It looks like office 2010
ribbon etc, perfectly fitting for Windows 7
GazaAli
Very stable, i have been through beta 1, 2 and 3 and not had any crashes or freezes.
The only issue i had was small windows acting like tabs, so closing that closed firefox, but that was fixed with beta 3.
It's been said before, it's very fast, and unlike previous versions, it loads lightning quick aswell! definately the more well rounded of the browsers IMHO

Eventhough it sounds kind of silly, I'll admit that I am :). Then again I don't see a reason to use it, FireFox is working fine.

I lol'd because I use Firefox as default browser and Chrome for porn purposes
well first off, normal porn sites aren't illegal. Second, if you aren't on any sites that ARE illegal you have nothing to be scared of. Frenzyd109
Is there any ILLEGAL website?

Childporn? Warez? Isohunt?[QUOTE="dercoo"]ohhh the things that I googled... Shoot. I expect several investigations to take place on things related to murder. '-'Google (search) does that already, so little change.

Hey hey now. I never said I went to any of those sites lolFrenzyd109
Yeah that would be pretty nasty and you're officially a pedophile if you visit those :?

It's the principle of the fact and also there are completely legal things that people would rather everyone not know they google.
The government used the same line "If you've done nothing wrong, why WOULDN'T you want us to spy on you?!"
I doubt google ever looks at these logs. Millions use google each day. It isn't likely Google has employed millions upon millions of people to look over every users log.

I agree, but the way I see it is they aren't going to send your parents a letter saying you watch porn and bought a movie on amazon.
