You're especially tracked by default if you're logged into Gmail. Just edit your web history settings to turn it off. If you've done it right, it should display as:

Your web history has been paused.
This service will not collect any history until you choose to resume

However, your searches will always be tracked. Make sure to log out of Gmail or find some Google search proxy.

Google (search) does that already, so little change.

The most you can really do is use a proxy or block Google-Analytics,

They may do things like track what peoples tend to look up on Google search and other associated sites(YouTube etc), but nothing to make me scared of using a browser the few times I do go on the internet. Within a days time
