Last Tuesday night, I awoke to vomiting. I went to the doctor for it the next day and I had also developed a cough, sore throat, congestion, and dizziness. She told me to stay in bed and avoid other people cause I am contagious. I am still sick right now and have class tomorrow. Can't miss either. Anyone in the same boat as me?

I have been feeling alittle sick but not has sick as you are feeling now.
The vomitting is gone but all the other symptoms are in full force. I hope tomorrow morning I am stable enough to not look drunk walking. I also hope I done cause alot of others to get sick but I can't miss. I missed 3 days last week. That is going to be hard to make up.
Yesterday (especially last night I was sick). I actually had to call in sick to work this morning.
First time in history i've called in sick. And sunday's are a big day for us too, especially the "after church" crowd. I feel way better now, but man, i was not feelin it earler.
There's a cold going around at work. I caught it but am on the final end of it. It wasnt too bad, headaches, fever, and sore throat was as bad as it got.
Last week I was sick Sun - Fri with the same symtons that you have.
I went to school Monday and Tues, then couldn't take it so I missed Wed. Then felt better for Thurs, and was sick again Fri. Saturday I was perfectly fine.
I hope obama's health insurance thing comes soon. I have to wait till morning to goto the student health center. I just black out and I have a fever on 100.9 F. I can't afford a hospital trip or premiums on health insurance.
I had a cold about 3 weeks ago that I got better from but the day after it was gone I caught the 24 hour flu. First time I'd vomited in about 10 years... It took 3 days before i could eat a full meal again and I don't think my digestive system has fixed itself completely yet. hopefully by the end of the month Im good though, but I didnt think one day of sickness would affect me for this long :o
I don't understand why people go to the doctor for anything common like that. Stay away from people and take some cold medicine. You'll get over it in a couple days, if not THEN go to the doctors.
