My dad just told me quite a scary story about a friend of his and her daughter who have been apparently getting stalked by a mentally disabled man at the train station for the past week. Apparently this guy waits at the train station and then follows them all the way into town and back to the train station trying to scare her daughter who is 6 years old. Apparently he started circling them while they waited on the platform at the station and pressed his face against the window of the train right next to their seats once the train arrived too.

:?

Has anyone here seen or encountered a situation like this before? Either as a parent/relative/guardian or older sibling, and how did you deal with it?

All the time, but that is due to the nature of my work. The Embassy tends to attract quite a few fruitcakes to it's gates. My favorite one was the man who told us Mr Bin Laden used to live with him in Rural NZ and was a pizza driver, and that he had rung him last night to tell him of his next plan. For super serious.

 I had no idea you were from Wellington!

There are quite a few fruitcakes in town that usually stick out. Weird, but one time I walked past one of them who was poking around in the gutter, then about 5 minutes later down the road I walk past them again looking in a different gutter! Haha I was sure they had a teleporter or something, it was pretty much impossible for them to be infront of me once I'd past them the first time.

Back on topic though, I'm fairly sure I've seen that guy at the station, he'll literially scream his head off when he sees a train coming to the platform. If I ever see him harrasing that lady and her daughter I'll be sure to try stop him.

Haha, yeah, the internet isn't as big as I thought. I guess for in-joke points we can just laugh about the nutters on Cuba Street.

Well that's when people aren't telling us God told him that the New Zealand was next after Iraq. Haha Blanket Man... That dude creeps me the hell out, but I am intrigued as to how he powers up his iPod.
