Anyone Hate AC/DC?

I don't know if I'm alone on this or not. I can't stand them, and the 15 year olds who have tour shirts from when there parents were teens.

I don't care for AC/DC that much, but "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" is a timelessly badass tune.

They annoy me. I can't explain why, I used to love their stuff, but the radio stations I listen to play AC DC just a bit too often these days.

The same thing happened with Guns N' Roses. I can't even listen to their stuff anymore, either.

I haven't really heard many songs from them. SO I don't have much of an opinion

I'm 30 (AC/DC were way popular before my time, same can be said about Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix) and I have almost all thier Albums and I have a few shirts. It's called being a Fan of thier music/appreciating good music.

Trendoids (wannabees/posers) who wear ACDC shirts or any Rock shirts, like Motorhead, Motley Crue, Iron Maiden but HAVE NEVER LISTENED OR BOUGHT any of these band's albums are by far the worst and most annoying types. They simply wear the shirts to look....trendy.

Yeah, they piss me off. Almost as much as the people who were teenagers when they were big, got into them, never got over their death, and have subsoquently whined about how rock has declined since.

I'm 40, and have actually seen these bands in there prime. I have to say I'm shocked to hear that they are trendy. I have a few 20 year old concert shirts I break out once and a while when I cut the grass. I had no idea that I was stylin' while I was using the ol' Weedeater! :D

With a band along with the Misfits whos fiend is more or less a franchise I am a firm believer in the fact if you ware band merch you actually like the band and its not a fashion thing. Anyway back on topic, I voted "yes" because I think they are hugley overrated and they are my boyfriends favourite band to boot so I have to listen to them regulary.

I don't mind people having diferent opinions, but to create a thread about hating something? As I said, if there was a thread called "Do you like AC/DC" and he said "no I hate them", that would be fine, but to create a thread about hating something (And it could be anything, not just something I like) is really negative.

Back in Black is a classic album, and every song is great. Hells Bells, Dirty Deeds, and High Voltage had a few great ones, but there are a couple that just don't do it for me (like Ballbreaker).

And of course, Thunderstruck...epic song with an awesome guitar part. As far as live goes, they're great performers and there's no lost quality.

AC/DC IS RECORDING AGAIN, BUT THE NEW ALBUM WILL BE RELEASED EXCLUSIVELY AT WAL-MART/SAM'S CLUB.
