I've got one at the moment, I'm making a flavor library of various flavor extracts for cocktail drinks. I'm also intending to make my own bitters as well out of these. So far I have vanilla, lavender, and cinnamon bottled up with almond, cardamom, rose, and peach to come. Also I bought some wild cherry bark today for the bittering agent that I intend to put in the peach bitters.
Dabble in drawing now and again usually when the mood strikes. Last time was a couple of weeks ago when I got a simp for Ahsoka Tano, never got far, kinda forgot how to draw bodies, bad memory.
Battle rap, listening to underground rap music, playing street basketball, and watching stand up comedy (Particularly Bernie Mac, George Carlin, Earthquake, Dave Chappelle, Eddie Murphy + Billy Connolly)
yeah i got a weird one. I like stationary items since my childhood specially the erasers. i used to have 100 different types and sizes of erasers inside a money box. its all lost now and i dont know where or who took it. ;/
I play guitar and sing. Was in a few bands years ago, never sang though even though I'm probably better at that than guitar. Still write songs once in a while, and occasionally record something with a few friends.
I enjoy making sweets like fudge, chocolate, caramel, and toffee. These are my go-to gift idea when I can't think of anything else to give someone. Has made Christmas time way less stressful.
During the shutdown, I started gardening with my kids. We've been growing tomatoes, basil, bell peppers, sunflowers, and beans.
Used to draw a lot, but it's been years since I put serious time into a picture. I will make quick sketches of a princes or dragon for my daughters to color in, but that's about it these days.

I think we'd probably be surprised by how many people do this type of thing.
None the older I got the more loss of interest I became. I use to be into skateboarding and drawing when I kid sometime around my mid teens I lost all interest in everything. Gaming doesn't even make me happy anymore it's more of a thing now to kill time.
Like to watch movies the longer the better for afternoons. Also really love reading fantasy and crime books.
Tried to take up knitting last year and was in process of making myself a jumper, got half way through but had to stop as my eyes were killing me. May take it up again this year, highly doubt it..!!
Must say though if anyone tried to stop my game time i wouldn't know what to do with myself, it's the only thing that gets me through the days (it's a chronic pain thing)..!!
I'm a student of comparative religion. I spend a lot of my money on religious texts. Right now I'm studying LaVeyan Satanism. I've finished the Satanic Bible and The Devil's Notebook. I'm currently reading The Satanic Witch.
Gaming, obviously. Also reading. I've been going through classic sci-fi that I never read back in the day. I finished the third Dune book recently and now I'm about a quarter of the way into Ender's Game.
I train BJJ, but I don't know if "hobby" is the right word to describe that. Also, even though our school is operating in a reduced capacity due to covid I haven't been back since February.
It kind of falls under gaming, but with stay and home being a big part of everyone's life I've been hitting the DDR pads quite a lot (nearly daily for 30 minutes minimum, taking breaks when my feet are bugging me).
Lately I've been doing a lot with 3d printing, mostly making masks. The last three are Mortal Kombat masks that I posted some pics over in the cosplay thread. I have a Solidoodle Press, which is a legendarily terrible 3d printer but I've tweaked and tuned it over the years to make is a pretty reliable but otherwise average printer. I just ordered a Prusa i3 MK3s a week ago but they are backordered.
Aside from gaming, I like to write. Stories and world-building lore, mostly, as well as video game ideas. Quick example; one reason I'm playing a lot of Horizon Zero Dawn right now is because it bears quite a few similarities to my own "New Age of Man" concept; mankind has essentially been rebooted, and their history has been lost to myth and mystery, allowing humanity to start over in different and weird ways. It made the setting click with me.
Since August I've also been doing a weekly blog dump for my gaming opinions on this site. It's just something I do because I already have at least one new gaming opinion each week which I start writing down, then end up leaving it to rot somewhere on my laptop because I don't know where to put it. So I thought I might as well run a few edit passes and dump it on my blog, just for the lack of alternative place to put it.
@Macutchi: Oh that will be telling...!!! One thing I did notice actually was the change in monthly M2 USD follows (not leads) the combination of Brent and WTI futures in the front month (most of the time).

@warmblur: I just got back into skateboarding after atleast a ten year break. I’m actually better now than I was as a teen, I think I just understand the body mechanics better and try different techniques for tricks now when one thing isn’t working. Give it a shot again you might be into it.

I'm to fat I would break the board lol plus I'm in my late 30's I just don't have the passion like I did back in the early 90's for it I wish I did. But anyways it's cool that you got back in skateboarding after ten years wow that's great congrats it's much feel good. I think in the future I might collect bongs and pipes maybe that could be my hobby just need my State to legalize man it's so frustrating.
I have a number of outdoor hobbies, since I live in an area that has lots to offer in the wilderness.
In the summer, I like fly fishing and hiking up mountains. There are a bunch of peaks people call "scrambles" which means its more than hiking on a trail, but doesn't require ropes. These are my favorites because they are exciting and rewarding to get to the top but you don't need to haul too much gear and take ages stringing up ropes to climb up tricky sections. I hurt myself doing this a couple years ago, and since then i've toned down the difficulty of the peaks I go for though I still enjoy doing it.
Fly fishing, is more of a relaxation thing for me. Lots of rivers/lakes where you can hang out for a day and experiment with different flies/lines to get the right combo to catch fish. Usually fish for trout in the spring/summer, and salmon in the winter when they come up rivers to spawn. Fighting a 10+ pound salmon on a fly rod with minimal tackle is always exciting. Sometimes you catch nothing or like 1 fish all day but its nice to relax in a beautiful spot and fly casting is involved enough to be enjoyable even if you aren't catching fish.
in the winter, my activity of choice is Alpine Touring (effectively backcountry skiing). Some people pay big money to get helicopters to fly them into backcountry skiing areas. Alpine Touring means you drive as high as you can on a mountain road, then strap skins to the bottoms of specialized skiis that are good for both uphill and downhill. You release the heel and use climbing skins on your way up, then take the skins off and attach the heel going down, turning them into downhill skiis. Its a hell of a workout, given the skiis/boots weigh a decent amount, plus you need to haul up avalanche safety gear in your pack. Breaking trail through fresh snow is exhausting but its worth it to get to remote, beautiful areas and have them all to yourself, skiing in pristine powder snow.
In the shoulder seasons I also golf, though I'm pretty bad lol
there's been a few things i consider hobbies over the years (gaming aside), some i've gotten more into than others.
made a few pieces of furniture over the years, i enjoy working with wood but admittedly i'm eh at it
done a little photography, mostly on trips, these were all taken in different national parks
probably spent the most time doing various programming / electronics projects. built a home theater projector a while back, built a webserver / database to track my groceries and help make meal planning easier ( limited success ), built an awesome LED coffee table.

lately doing some 3d printing / modeling and been trying to get back into running more for general health / fitness.
The new 3D printer I was waiting on finally showed up. It was a bear to build (takes about 8 hours) but it's running like a champ now and I'm cranking out items.
@comp_atkins: I'm curious to know more about the projector you built.
built it a long time ago before higher resolution home projectors were really affordable.
basically strip down a standard 17" lcd monitor to get the panel and the driving electronics. build a frame for the panel, shine a giant white light behind it via some fresnel lenses. build an enclosure to hold everything together and fans to deal with the large amount of heat the bulb creates.
it was more of a fun project than anything but i did get pretty damn good results for what it was an it's run for years for me with no real issues.
@uninspiredcup: Thats some pretty dam cool hobbies right there man. I've made beers with my brother in laws before, and its definitely rewarding a month later when the kaeg is ready to drink. As for my hobbies is rebuilding classic cars, and computer hardware, software upgrading.
