I personally am, I train for triathlons and work as a life guard on gunnamatta beach in Australia.

I was wondering who else here is athletic as well? If so please list your chosen sport or athletic activity and add a little something about it like why you enjoy it or how long you have been doing it for.

I also like playing basketball, not that i'm really good at it though:P. I guess you don't really need to be good at a sport to enjoy it!

I enjoy swimming too, it is my main strenth in triathlons and is mainly where I make up any lost ground.

Football(american) is my sport of choice and i also am leaning towards some MMA(mixed martial arts) training for fun on th side. In high school i was our offensive line captaind and our overall defensive captain. I played linebacker on defense and left tackle on offense. i started both ways, and was also a backup d-lineman, fullback, and tight end. lol i went to a small school and i was one of the best guys on the team so i was kinda used as a jack of all trades. my junior and senior years i broke the 100 tackle mark junior year was 113 i believe and senior year was 137 with the playoffs added in there

My job keeps me fairly athletic. I'm too exhausted to exercise at the end of the day due to all the walking I do.

its really fun you should give it a try some day, ive always wanted to play australian but never wuite took the time to understand the rules- is it more like rugby? oh and with the weight training thing i dont like doing my leg workouts as much and since its not good to work out the same muscle groups constantly i do legs tues and thurs and upper body on mon wed fri. its a good balance with my running habits i stay in pretty decent shape. i wish i had more mass on me though im not too big im only 6'2 195 pounds so even though i was rated pretty high at my positions, since i went to a smaller school and i was undersized for what i played (linebackers my height are usually around 235-245 pounds and o lineman are closer to the 300 range lol) i only got scouted by smaller colleges for scholarships so i ended up not playing college ball i just took an army scholarship to a major state university instead

lol u like my play on the brands lol ive always wondered what a duracel bunny could do so ive always used that as my saying instead of energizer lol plus i usually donnt use duracel cause they always seem more expensive and im a chepo lol so i choose duracel ftw

Marines believe 7 minutes is acceptable, altough a marine should have a better result of course. Fact remains tho', they believe that it's good (unless you're a soldier). I just..became an athlete. I started boxing and sine then I've trained quite a lot. Monday, I sometimes run, but generally rest, Tuesday is two hours boxing + running afterwards. Wednesday... running generally, do some jump ropin every now and then too. Thursday, 2 h boxing, 1h floor ball... 40 min running. Fri.. i never work out on a friday, thats a crime -.- Sat + Sun, Running, bodyweight excercises. It's not a perfect scheduele, but I'm doing soemthing ...I didn't do anything six months ago.

I played American Football, I also ran track, and did baseball during the summers. I also do olympic style weight lifting. When I was younger I wrestled but later when I moved my  new Highschool didn't offer wrestling.  I was recruited by some small D3 and D2 football teams. And now I'm thinking about playing for a semi professional football team that is near where I live. So I guess you could say I'm athletic. I'm about 5'9 212 pounds, and I'm fast.

I play football ( english ). I love it because I'm extremely fast and don't really need much else. I also play a bit of rugby, which again I'm good at because I'm fast. I do chin ups and other stuff in my spare time to keep me ticking over.

I'm pretty athletic.  Played baseball and football all through highschool.  Made all conference, all city, all county, all region my senior year playing tight end.  As for baseball, I was a left handed pitcher throwing 93 as a sophomore.  Coach threw me every single game and blew my arm out so I had to tone it way down.  I'm 6'7 and about 240 pounds at the moment.  Currently I play division 1-AA football (American) in college so I'm still keepingmy fitness levels up.

Since a bunch of people are posting mile times...

My last one was 6:04.

1 kid on our track team ran a 4:14 (isn't the world record 4:13? Or am I way off, 4:13 might be a state record...) he was pissed :P.
