So I took an algebra test and I got really pissed off because one of the problems didn't seem possible... so I wrote it down:

X^2 + Z^2/X^2 = ?

lol...

I think you missed out something. Clearly you can't answer a qustion with two unknowns. Unless if they asked to put x in terms of z or vice versa.

lol my thoughts exactly.

You can't divide letters by letters if there are no numbers and expect to get a numeric result.

No, I typed it wrong originally. Still, I think my answer isn't that good anyway.

You cannot do anything to that question, as it is already simplified. Unless she wanted you to write... 2*x^2 = -z^2

That's not even a question. If it was equal to zero you could simplify it a bit or express X as a function of Z or something, but that seems kind of silly.

I'm good at maths. Unfortunately, I'm not good at unscrambling random letters and symbols and numbers, so don't look at me for the answer to that retarded mess.

you have to have a common denomiator. soo you you would end up with X^4/X^2 + Z^2/X^2 i think :| man, i think i did it wrong :(

o_0 you would be able to work out what it meant if you knew something about maths.

Ill write it out in a word equation and you can dazzle us?

"x squared" + "z squared" / "x squared"

PROTIP: the "/" indicates you need to divide the former by the latter

X^2+Z^2/X^2= X+Z/X The powers cancel out since when you divide indices you take the indices away from each other and thats the most simplest form it could go to.
