His first album was just crazy. Good lyrics, good beats, good everything! (Well, that was to me anyway).
BUT, only for this reason. Every other album, single, mixtape or whatever he has made is total garbage. Like every other mainstream rapper, he just sold out..
I like him,but only because of Get rich or Die trying. Whatever he's done,he is forgiven,because Get rich or Die trying was a great album. As for his other stuff...maybe 10 good songs.
Every hip-hop fan knows that 50 Cent was their favorite rapper from 1999-2003. GRODT was a great album, and I kinda hope one day he makes a album as good as that again.

Yea, 50 got arrested, shot 9 times, stabbed, then robbed the dudes who stabbed him. This is coming from a dude that's never really been a 50 fan, but I won't say he's not a street dude Not to mention that Eazy-E couldn't really rap and was nothing without Ren, Cube, and Dre

While I'm not a big fan of 50, when I heard how deep the first verse was... well, it kind of gave me a new perspective on him. Tbh, if he made less songs like "Candy shop" and "Get up" and more that talked about his experience on the street, I'd probably be more fond of him, but after the whole "g-unot" movement, I doubt a lot of people would give him any credibility if he started talking about the downs in his life.
