Yes, and Grindcore/Grind Metal is that growling that is so insane you can't even understand it if you have the lyrics in front of you, it's why I prefer Death Metal over Grind, I understand it more.

You know of Cannibal Corpse right? They are brutal.

Nile Amazing, highly recommended, hell, I'm kinda jealous of these guys cuz they got the coolest "Theme" of any band.

Cryptopsy Never heard of them, I'll check them out.

Necrophagist Awesome, saw these guys in concert

Decapitated Also saw these guys in concert, best album is winds of creation (a bit over-rated, but I like it the most anyway)

Alright, that list should last you a long time, of all those my faves are Nile, Decapitated, and Necrophagist.

Check out Dissection too, they aren't one of my faves, but they've got some kick ass songs.

nope i dont listen to anything core. and if i did shoot my face off with a shotgun just enough so im not quite dead but im in the worst pain of my life and then i bleed to death. haha! but i can reccommend some bands of a genre that ends in metal, death metal, black metal, thrash metal... but sadly nothing core.

death metal: black dahlia murder, cannibal corpse, lamb of god, children of bodom (both newer albums suck goat nuts)

black metal: behemoth, nile, the faceless (idk what genre they are im assuming black)

thrash metal: slayer of course, evile, exodus

(those are all popular bands because imo bands that arent well known suck and if you say otherwise your just trying to be different. if they were great they would sell some albums.)

first of all, that is one of the most ignorant things i've ever heard, second of all, your a hypocryte, last time i checked Evile, Exodus, Behemoth, and Nile aren't well known, and 3rd, learn what Black Metal is. Nile sure as hell isn't black metal, Behemoth is Blackened Death, so i guess your kind of close, and fourth; i wasn't aware you could say Black, or Death Metal, and well known in the same sentence, last time i checked those were 2 of the most under ground genres of music.

another band i forgot to mentino is Demilich, awesome technical death band from Finland, they only released one album Nespithe, in the early 90s before breaking up

Haha, I knew you'd like them, they toured in the U.S. once, but they skipped my city :cry:

I remember Demilich, man, haven't heard them in forever, they're great but I just never listened to them much, they've got one album so I'll be picking that up.
