anyone mishears what people say

I don't mishear, I just don't hear most things the first time... I have to get people to repeat what they say constantly, it's really frustrating.

I do have a friend though who mishears things in bizarre ways all the time. I haven't spoken to him for a while, and can't remember any examples, but it's crazy.
