Anyone notice the halo around the moon outside?

I currently live in Dallas, Texas. Anyone here or anywhere else notice this?

OMG WTF IS THAT?!? Its not super close to the moon. Its really large and far around it. WTF is that?? ;[

I know it's probably insignificant. Most likely just reflections off the clouds. But it looks pretty cool.

But in an effort to make this thread more interesting, I'm going to suggest that its one of the following...

1. The world is ending

2. Aliens

3. Steve Jobs is going overboard in preparation of the iTablet

Sounds plausible, right?

Yup. Same for me. I've never seen or heard of this happening before :] That's probably why I had a little sinking feeling when I saw it.

Here in Nevada (Nay bah duh) there is a crappy jagged halo and i can only see half the moon.

What's amusing, at least to me, is that I just went outside to take a picture for you guys and it's not the same anymore. Anyways, I came in, clicked on this thread, and your post sums up why I came in without a picture :]
