I've seen Arj Barker when he was with the Flight of the Conchords for their North American Tour they had this year when they arrived in Utah. It felt like it was my first Stand up comedy show, even though it was also my second music concert having Bret and Jemaine do their singing.

Arj was funny as hell when I saw him, even more funnier in real life than he is on TV.

Who have you guys seen?

I have never been, but I love watching stand up comedians on TV and DVDs ect. I am also going to see Jimmy Carr stand up in December, I can't wait :)

I've been to see Tim Minchen, and once a month there's a comedy show in my town, often featuring surprisingly high profile names (Reginald D Hunter being a recent example).

Tim Minchin is a genius, I would love to see him live and Reginald D Hunter... is that the American that pops up on Have I Got News For You occasionally? If so I like him as well :P

I had a chance to see Dave Chappelle live a few years ago. He's pretty cool live; he actually stood about an hour longer than when his set was supposed to end.

Same. I saw him about a year or so before he died. He was fantastic, but he was reading from a script most of the time. Did he do the same at your show?

Yeah, that's around the time I saw him. He didn't look too well.

Yeah he looked pretty bad. Very frail. Really sad, he was my favorite comedian. He may have gotten a bit bitter and overly cynical later on, but he was still the best.

I'd take you up on that offer, but sadly, I live in Ohio. :( Which is leaving me wondering if I missed Mike Birbiglia's tour...

Hmm... well if any of our clients hit up Ohio I'll try to remember to get you comped. Or at least some discount of some sort.

Carrot Top is the only stand up comedian that i've ever seen. he was pretty funny, but i'm sure there are many others that i would have enjoyed more. it was free so i'm not complaining. one of my good friends had his girl bail out on him at the last minute, so i got sloppy seconds:P

Come to think about I never went to live Stand up.

I just watch it in Comedy Central. I went to a few shows that are real life in a cruise or bar.

I've seen Artie Lange and Jim Florentine (best known as the retarded puppet on crank yankers) as well as the other Killers of Comedy. When I was on vacation in Europe my wife and I went to an improv group in London that was pretty good, they ragged on us a lot for being American but it was funny.
