Sucks for me, since my summer school literally starts in about six hours. (I'm planning on staying up all night because I probably won't be able to sleep anyway) What sucks is that it's for a class that I didn't pass by literally (yes, using that word again) 1-4%. The class is two hours each day for six weeks, and I'm still wondering how on earth people within a hair's distance from passing equates to that torturous amount of time, treating me as if someone who didn't turn any work in at all...Anyway, wish me luck.

Anyone else going to the slaughter house this summer? (summer classes that is)

Then how can you afford a vacation? I'm guessing you're going like 20 miles in a car and staying at a Holiday Inn or something and calling that a vacation? Anyway, sounds better than my situation.

LOL yah, driving to Frisco and probably staying at the Best Western :lol: My mom wants to take some tour, i want to go to Six Flags because last time i had a bad stomach ache and couldn't go get all the coaster credits. I will probably ride my 50th rollercoaster yay! :D

I'm not taking any summer classes, but I did once have to retake a course THAT I PASSED because my grade was shy of the requirements for my major by 3%. That was a great use of time and money.

I failed two cla-ses last year, but screw summer school, it`s summer and I need a break from school and all that highschool drama. I`ll worry about it when I`m back.

What class(es) did you fail?
The first half of American Literature. Mainly because of our work attached to the Crusible section of the course, where I didn't turn enough work in because I couldn't keep up with the book.

And what a coincidence. I've also been looking for a job. I've been looking into getting a job at the local Little Ceasars or Golf Land (miniature golf place). I don't want a job at the grocery stores since that just looks way too boring packing bags and whatnot.

I doin't think summer school even exists here, they've done some over the shorter holidays though like revision sessions but i didn't go to any of them

I'm taking Molecular Biology starting...in 40 minutes. It should be pretty interesting, but it'll suck having to work during the summer as well.

I have been taking genetics since the first week in June and its 4 hours a day for 6 weeks until like the 2nd week in July. Its kinda rough too since its not just a BS class, its Genetics...

I am taking two classes (that start today), just to keep up. I didn't fail anything, but it is so hard to get classes at my school that taking summer classes is necessary to graduate on time.
My classes are basic philosophy and basic sociology so they should be super easy...and the are only 5 week long courses, so I will be done by the end of July and free to enjoy the rest of my summer.

Really? I actually just finished that class in the regular school term, and passed by a hair. We built tooth pick bridges as our final and I guess my bridge did really well and boosted my grade up to pass-worthy. I was so relieved.

I would have taken summer school classes but there was no need. I only need 15 hours per semester to graduate on time so my last year of college before siminary will not be too difficult. I am, however, living on campus and working in the bookstore this summer.

Lets see...first off I got a D in second semester of AP Physics (by 3%) and a D in second semester of Honors Pre-Calculus (by .8%!). So I will be taking Intro to Psychology from 8-10 AM then SAT Prep from 10-12 at my high school then I have to take Pre Cal at a community college from 1-4:40 PM then I am taking Physics from 5-9:15 at night. Ahh yes...my summer is just lovely...JUST ******* LOVELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No i won't be taking any summer classes...i almost had to though because i was failing math until i got a D- on my exam which actually pushed my grade up and let me pass...So i barely passed.
