I haven't started it yet. I'm backlogged on library movies and other TV shows. I just want to know if it's something I need to watch now, or it's only so-so so that I can catch up on other stuff.

Seen the first two episodes, pretty intense and the portions with the family add a great dynamic to the story.
Was kinda hyped to watch it as he was about the only decent thing in DD S2, but it seems to be getting so-so reviews. Prob shoot through it on a lazy day, but in no rush now.
@uninspiredcup: Just watch it don't care about reviews. Most of the negative parts of the reviews are that it has a slow start, but that is the problem with most series during the first season.
Make up your own mind don't let critics dictate what is good or not, most of them are unprofessional and biased.
It's not like you're paying additional money to see it if you have Netflix already.
I watched the first 8 episodes so far. It's a wwinner. IMO best Marvel show on Netflix.
That would be Daredevil.
Only seen the first 3 episodes so far. It's good but not great as I expected. Bernthal's take is too unhinged for my liking (kinda reminds me of his character in Fury). I'd said it's better than Thomas Jane's Punisher but beneath Ray Stevenson's. Whole government conspiracy is so cliche now, seeing it in the Punisher is kinda yawn inducing. But I like the tone and direction of the show.
Also writers of this show likes assholes alot, you're an asshole, I'm an asshole, everyone's an assholes.
Watched a few yesterday, was alright. Not as strong as DDS1 or Jessica Jones, but nowhere near as bad as DDS2 or Defenders.
The opening episode makes it seems like it's going to be a small scale mob story, then it wanders off into shit I don't care about.

I wish I still held this belief after finishing it -- not a real big fan of the show after about half way.
For a show that is called "The Punisher" Punisher was noticeably absent.

Yeah I have two episodes to go but it doesn't beat DD in any way.

saywat? DDS2>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>DDS1 and JJ combined and multiplied 10 times. DDS1 and JJ are ridiculously monotonous after the first few episodes, where everything decays into a "Fisk/Kilgrave did this so we're doing to do that" that lasts until the end of the season.
Honestly the series would be a bit better if they made The Punisher actually do what he's best known for and what he was presented as at the beginning of DDS2, shredding hordes of criminals. As interesting as it may have been, the whole DHS trying to uncover the crap the CIA has done thingy took wayyyyy too much screentime, as did his relation with Micro. It was good all aroud though, I just hope if they make a S2 there will be less qq and more pew pew.

Word, Ray Stevenson's Punisher was great. I was totally bummed out to discover War Zone was considered a massive failure after I watched the movie.
