How is your relationship with all your old high school buddies? Do you talk to all/some/none of them at all? Or are all of your friends college friends/co-workers?
I keep in good contact with a few close friends (e-mail or call every once in awhile). Had a big falling-out with all my hs friends who came to the same school as me, so we never hang out anymore. I don't really have friends at my college right now that I hang out with, I mostly just study and spend time with my girlfriend and go to work.
My close friends I still hang around with every so often, movies and gaming parties and what not. One thing I like about facebook is you can keep in touch with people from school.
I talk to all my good friends and hang out with them over the summers. It helps that they come up to visit me at my college, and I go down to visit them.
10 years outta school, dont really talk to any of them, We'd get together during college breaks for the first few years here and there, but then you kinda drift apart. At least we did.
I stay in contact with a couple of my friends although we went to different high schools, but we first met in 1st grade lol. They're pretty much my brothers now, so that's no surprise. I talk to one of my friends a lot online, but I haven't actually seen him since graduation. I talk to another friend occasionally and we get some pretty deep conversations going lol. That's pretty much it though.
I talk to all of my close friends, however most of them went to the same university as me. Even those who didn't though, i see them when i go back home during holidays and breaks, and talk to all of them regularly on MSN. "The bulk" of people from my high school though, i haven't seen again since.
EDIT: it's not a big deal though, as it really is true what they say - you meet new friends. And super-quick. I met a new person on my very first day at uni and we're very good friends now. It happens that quickly. :P
I had a lot of friends in high school but since graduation we've all just went into our own direction, there's only 2 friends I still keep in touch with and I barely keep in touch, I come back to visit every so often but yeah. Its just how it is. Im not even very interested in contacting all the people I knew in high school. Once you start college its kinda like starting a new life, for me especially since I moved to a new town, got a job. I made a few friends here tho, but obviously I put my 2 best friends above them.
Part of the reason I dont have facebook is cause I really don't have much interest in keeping in touch with all the people I knew.
I'm only in contact with one good on a regular basis. However, just last Friday I saw one girl I had met during my senior year and I gave her my number so we could catch up.
I didn't really have so called friends in highschool people I knew was more like it. However I work with a couple of people at my job who went to the same highschool and I slightly consider them friends, but more of associates.

It happens, life goes on.
Right now, I don't even hang out with alot of people, I still K.I.T. with my college friends, but with work (I work 6 days a week to keep an apartment in Brooklyn NY) it's tough to maintain a constant social life. It's even tough for me to see my GF on weekends.

i still get together with my buds about every weekend and hang granted its just who i was tight with and not the general everybody sure there a couple of people i dont hardly see anymore like my friend Mark who is always with his girlfriend or at work and my one friend Sam went on a Mission trip for 2 years and i havent even spoken to him since then but there is about 5 of us and anyone else who wants to join are always hanging with each other
