I always found Platoon to be more entertaining and to the point..i always thought Apoc. Now was too...pretentious

That's tough, but Apocalypse Now is one of my favourite films, so i'll pick that.

Apocalypse Now. It was just......insane. Its more of an experience than a movie (although I love Platoon as well)

Also, does this have anything to do with your Charlie VS Martin Sheen thing?

Apocalypse Now was epic....It truly is one of my favourite movies ever.....
