to sum it up, who the hell does apple think they are? This goes beyond false advertising and marketing, this is just plain stupid! apple lists reasons why you should get a mac and why pc sucks on this link.

1. All macs come with ilife, a movie, music and photo software! how many PC applications can do that? I am not kidding here, this is what they actually wrote on their site, I can get free software that does what ilife does.

2. It just works: macs work? ummm don't other computers also work?

3. Everything ready, running multiple operating systems, mac is aparently the only system to support this out of the box: this tech has been around for years, apple have done nothing interesting here.

4. Not as many viruses: this is true, if you are an idiot. If you get tons of viruses, it because of you being stupid and opening up tons of sites and pop ups, spyware and anti virus software is not expensive, sometimes even free, macs do have less viruses I admit, but vista has good virus protection built in.

5. Still the most advanced os: says who? vista is just as advanced, if not more, linux is free and has all the stuff mac has, but free. even xp is as advaced, this is just apple lying out their backsides.

6. The latest intel chips: ummmm havent pcs had thos feature before macs, im almost certain:roll:

7. No hunting for drivers: vista automticly searches for drivers when you plug something in, linux can to, xp probally can ( dont know if true or not) even if xp cant, downloading drivers is hardly important in picking PC and mac.

8. Design that turns heads: ever heard of case modding and cases?

9. Instant video chat: im pretty sure you can video chat with one click on windows.

10. More fun with photos without tons of extra software: you only need one good program on PC to edit great photos.

11. Hollywood ****movies: windows can edit movis to.

12. One click websites:.......this is just beyond stupid.

13. Amazing podcasts: its not hard to edit your voice, besides they work on pc too.

14. Rock star tunemaking: I can make music on my pc.     

15 Awesome out of the box, only mac gives you free software!!!!!: again, beyond stupid.

I don't like Apple either! You know what they did to iPod batteries?

You have a 1 year warranty on your iPod battery. They designed the batteries to last 13 months. After the batteries expire they get weaker and last around 4hrs tops. So you're forced to get a new battery which costs 60$ and they get the profit. Bull#@!*

PC is like a capitalist market and Mac is a communist one.  If you just look at the superficial set up communism looks like a much better way to run things, but when it comes down to actually running something capitalism ends up doing better.

Because that sort of mudslinging is commonplace in elections.  It's commonplace everywhere that competition is present, and most of the time, it's total BS. 

I hate those ridiculous television advertisements where the PC is all for business apps and the Mac is the "fun" computer. Apparently PCs do not do things like "play music."

Uh, what's that, Apple, what percentage of computer games are made for your OS again?

Most advertising is pretty nonsensical, but theirs is just blatantly wrong.
