Download Now! I have been using it on mac for years now, and now thats its on PC, I never have to dread using the PC for internet browsing! :) I used to love firefox, but then it became too bloated!
Have not tried the beta yet for the pc. But it certainly loads pages faster than firefox on osx. This move from Apple came as a surprise to me. Who knows what will come of this. But this definitely makes it easier to test website compatibility for pc centered web designers.

Yeah, I was crusing their website today after WWDC and all that looking what the next 6 months or so would hold, and I was blown away at first when I saw beta, I was like yes...so I click it...on my macintosh that is...and under it says ... "Mac + Windows"....and I was like :o .
Just so you know, Apple is abandoning the Safari project and soon, all their computers will ship with Firefox. I own a Mac, and Safari simply won't load certain objects properly. You can "debloat" Firefox if you want by just installing the base version without adding toolbars and similar things.
Yeah I installed it earlier. It's decent, but Opera still holds a higher spot for me. I know it's still a beta so there's still mroe to come. It'll still be useful for web design and what have you, though.
It's about time Microsoft provided us Mac users with some decent software. There's no excuse for holding back the last billion versions of MSN and failing to include Publisher in Microsoft Office.

And Safari doesn't do links. I use Firefox for that wtf......i tried to post with it and it left nothing......wow that browser blows. Ill just keep with my IE since firefox doesnt load youtube as fast.
Cool, now they need to make it so that my PC can play music and all that stuff, because PCs don't do that sort of thing, judging from their commercials. Apple has way more games too. The average Apple computer owner lives ten years longer and can rip entire phone books in half.

Agree, there is like a new update every month, what happened to the good ol' Firefox that was quick to load and use. Now Firefox seems to eat up more memory (and I don't use addons).
However, I still love Firefox, but I wish they sped it up.
