I don't really classify myself as either. I just said I'm beta because that's how I think other people see me. The label doesn't actually mean anything to me, though.

Hey it is fine, I am an omega (the lowest caste) if this is even valid.
I agree labels do not matter. I do not get why we all must constantly try and create divisions.
It's more about social status and how one carries one's self. An alpha doesn't have to have 1000 friends or something like that, but does need to be assertive and sociable yet have the respect / disdain of his peers for his dominance.
