No absolutely not. They are single child's, have everything before even wish it, they hate school and love to be popular ( the worst insult to an American teenager is calling him a geek ) they think that when they have a common cold the world the all world is about to die .Well they are just healthy teens and the future of the great nationdelol
I can't tell if you are trying to knock Americans or that is what you believe.

You sure are posting a lot in this thread. Are you so self-centered that you feel compelled to make extra posts just so others will pay more attention to you? You're worse than a teenager!
*goes back to admiring self*

Yes, all American teenagers are exactly like this, they all have a collective mind and are told what to think by MTV. If you call any teenager a geek he will beat you up because he's a big football star. If one has a cold, he/she complains. It's clear to me you either don't go to a U.S. school and get your information from TV/movies or from a select few teenagers you've actually met, or you just go to an insanely terrible high school or college. There are many teenagers at my college who do more volunteer work than any adult I've ever met, as well as campaigning, protesting, etc. And I also know plenty of teenagers who are just fine being called a "geek", and who are all too aware of their own flaws. So stop generalizing, you ignorant ****.
I don't remember ever being called a geek or nerd and feeling insulted.
And yes, most American teenagers are self-centered.
I don't consider myself self-centered, since I worry about my friends and family a lot. However, a ton of kids at my school are entirely self-centered, and even more of them only care about the here-and-now. Recently, some kid said that a 10-day suspension was nothing, and I said "Colleges won't be thinking it was nothing." He replied "Who the [expletive] cares about college?" I said "Obviously not you, since you have no chance of getting accepted by any real college."

Also, on the whole geek-related issue, I find that most kids make fun of me for being smart. That is seriously one of the stupidest things I've ever heard of. Sure, they only do it to feel better about themselves, but insulting someone for being in an AP class and being very creative? That's just ridiculous. Let's all make fun of the "losers" who pay attention in class and try to maximize their potential.
People like that just drive me mad.
I'm sure that some of them are and some of them are not. But teens from other countries? No way, not a single one of them is self-centered.smokeydabear076Damn straight. Teenagers in other parts of the world are community-minded young fellers with great futures.
