Are ghosts real?

What's your opinion on ghosts? I think it's possible they might exist, but I haven't seen enough proof from either side of the argument to convince me one way or another. If they are real, I hope they can't do any physical damage, Poltergeist style. :)

Oh and please leave religion out of this discussion.

Maybe, I heard a cool theory on ghosts. Ghosts may not be dead people, but instead they may be quick glimpses into other universes, parrallel ones you know. That is why most of them are seen from the corner of your eye. I know it sounds strange, but to me it sounds pretty cool. Film-Guy

I think they do. And let me tell you about my personal ghost story.

Two summers ago me and my family went to visit my relatives in the Czech Republic ( I was born in Canada but my parents were born there). Flash forward a couple of days. I was in the living room just laying down on the couch, and got bored so I sat up. When I sat up I faced forward. There was a door that led to the kitchen, it was open. As I sat up, I saw someones foot disappear behind it, as if they were walking off to the side. At first I thought it was my Mom or my Grandma going to get something from the dinner table, so I got up and went inside the kitchen. But when I got there and looked around, there was no one there.

Now I don't know if what I saw was actually a ghost, or if I was just seeing things. Because I was laying down for awhile and sitting up might have messed me up a bit. But on a different day I was walking to the livingroom, and through the window I could see someone outside bending down to pick something up, and since the house was fairly high off the ground, I couldn't see them after they bent down. But once again, no one was there.

If they didn't, these guys would be out of a job.

yes, i think they r real. u can tell if u see a ghost is by an "orb" u take a camra with night vision just look around. if u see a light fly up and disapear.

my friends house is haunted. we saw a orb under his bed. one time i wa splaying xbox 360 i was laying on the ground and i felt a finger going into my back. my friend wa on his bed half asleep he didn't touch me, his brother was in his room his cats weren't in. i was scared a little.

No it doesn't sound strange at all. Fragments of a parallel universe leaking out onto our world. Wasn't there a twilight zone episode about that?

They are as real as you and I.

I would like to think that there is some sort of paranormal activity/energy that exist from living beings, but of course, I can't prove it
