Are Online Ads becoming more Intrusive..?

As if popups weren't annoying enough, I got a popup blocker but that just doesn't do it...

Now I seem to be coming across Ads that blast your computer with sound, and even worse, Ads that pop up with a message that says.. "You can close this ad in 10 seconds."

How intrusive can you get?

An online ad broke into my house and had its way with me....I still have nightmares:cry:

With Ad Blocker Plus I get maybe 1 pop-up a day at most total. Its nicetestfactor888

yes they are because at the moment there's a big ad covering your post so I can't read it.

adds can be extremely annoying, but heres something to keep in mind, there are a finite number of add companies, and as such, depending on what browser your using, installing addblock plus and noscript plus occasionally allowing popular well known sites and forbidding add sites should make your browsing experience a lot better

If you use firefox use NoScript, it blocks ads all the time for me.

Those two are amazing, it just sucks initially setting them up.

I actually find myself closing gamespot prematurely after trying to watch a couple videos only to be bombed with the same loud ad twice in a row for a game that I am in no way interested in. At least figure out what games I like instead of blasting me with some gears of **** console crap! STFU the ads g-money, **** money grubbing FUCFCK
