Are people still firing off fireworks where you are?

So… are people still shooting off fireworks where you are?

Since the night before New Years eve people have been firing them off at random points in the night where I am. Obviously midnight of New Years was a gong show, as was expected, but tonight there have been a fair share of them too. Hard to sleep through your neighbors firing off what sounds like gunshots from your window lol.

I have a feeling I will be hearing residual pops in the night all week as well. It seems certain areas of the world this is more prevalent than others, not sure why other than perhaps climate.

Yes and I live in Texas, they have been popping them off randomly at night since Christmas. I expect tomorrow too.
