That's one of the things I love about NY... illegal goods laid out for sale in plain view. Fireworks, fake IDs, knives, bongs, crackpipes... you name it.

Those laws are probably left over from the days when people were worried about street crime involving knives rather than guns. I'm guessing the local authorities are picking their battles.
