lawl. The more active, the less likely to be good, but the less active, the less interesting they can be.I've found plenty of forums better than this place. Sadly, they aren't nearly as active.

Nah, they usually tend to be a lot more interesting if they're not owned by a major corporation. The downside is that those kinds of forums have little activity.
[QUOTE="Travo_basic"]I haven't found anything that is quite as good.LJS9502_basicHaven't either though I've looked.I've looked at a few and joined a couple. We complain about GS, but there really isn't anything better.

Not that I have found. The only others I have been to are Gamedev.net and Vogons (Very Old Games On New Machines). One is only for programming stuff, and the other is good for running old DOS games. I have seen several others, but none of them seemed all that interesting. Anywho, nothing beets SW after a massive flop or Sony presentation.
That and GS and JustPlainLucas, which I have heard is the Internet equivalent to Jesus. I seem to remember a thread that was made after he was banned where someone said "He got banned for our moderations".
I like the way these forums operate. I like the "strict" rules. Cuts down on all the crap.
In my opinion this is the best forum.

I've seen plenty of good forums that don't have crappy rules near Gamespot's level of strictness. I'd say that the fact that the rules are so vague and strict are part of what contributes to the crap that does end up on here.
