For the one I usually go to very nice yes, but I have one 20 minutes away that are jerks. What about you?

What do you expect? They sell Video Games for a living. It's not like their minds are overwhelmed with the wonderful career opportunities that come with working at Game stop. And if they are not adults regretting their dead end career choices they are kids. Well we all know kids are just rude to people simply because they can be. "You have a Wii?! Pfff get out of here with your loser contraption, loser."
The behavior and the attitude comes with the circumstances.

I want the game NOW. Not wait a week. :D
Patience is a virtue. Especially when waiting a few days means you can save lots of money in the process. Not really for a new game. It's usually cheaper to buy my used games one ebay anyway.

The "kids" at my local one aren't like that. They were talking to this parent about the wiis child protection stuff that made me literally facepalm, very nice doing so. Not everyone is rude.

I never buy new anyways (As a testament to this, I just picked up Borderlands and Fallout 3 this year), so that's why I save. As for ebay being cheaper, I have no idea, as I've never used it (and probably never will).[QUOTE="MagnumPI"]

yea half the stuff they say they have to know is a lie or just made up. And most I have been to they are not kids they are ussually 20-30ish year old men...There's probably five Gamestops within 30 minutes of my house although we're surrounded by farms/homesteads. All of them have pretty decent employees.
I have 4 Gamestops less than a mile apart from eachother. Most of them are chill out of all the employees I can only think of 2 specifically that are jerks.
The one here I use to go to had nice employees until one of the managers got transferred to the other Gamestop or something. Since then they've all acted like they are superior or something.
Definitely.
I once asked a woman around here (Northern Virginia area, near Maryland) if there were any stores that sold old school games and consoles.
She not only gave me a straight answer, she pointed me to another business that was not related to Gamestop.
I've never had any problem with Gamestop, I've never once experienced bad customer service.
They're nice about it, even if they don't really wanna be there on occasion.
Pretty knowledgable as well, thankfully.
Yeah, I've been a long time customer over at my gamestop so they all know who I am and I know them. Its great.
