As for mainstream songs, I wouldn't know, I stopped listening to the radio awhile back.

I wish that rockstar would stop being played on the radio; I'm even somewhat of a nickelback fan but i just want to hurt people when i hear them singing along to it :/

Yeah rockstar is a bit played out. Ummm...I can't really think of any good songs lately. What kind of music do you normally listen to?

The new Foo Fighters album is possibly the best album of the new millenium (other then the White Stripes Elephant) and Stadium Arcadium by RHCP is amazing as well

Other than that. NO. Nothing good has been out since the early 90's. I hate new music untill Jefferson Airplane Makes a new single

Muse is my fav band playing today, and they only get beat out by Nirvana in my mind.

The rest are bands I like but aren't THAT into anymore, but I do love hearing them on the radio.

Oh, and I do enjoy that Almost Easy is getting alot of airplay, as it is one of 2 songs of the crappy new Avenged cd that I actually REALLY like. When I hear it on the radio I crank it up to full volume and rock out, lol.

Edit: I forgot that there is an AWESOME Apocalyptica song getting played on the radio, I'm Not Jesus.

god, i hate almost easy! i never really liked A7X, but their last album is seriously ****the only good part of it is like the beginning of that coctail song.

i guess good mainstream music would be kanye west, timbaland etc.. they are like the only hip hop musicians i actually like!

oh, and Papa Roach have been making pretty mainstream music lately. Probably my second favourite band after Korn and Children of Bodom. Definitely worth checking out! love em.

The only thing I hear on the radio is nickelback, fergie, and American Idol robots; so no.

Great artists hardly get the recognition they deserve; they're not easily martketable and the masses "won't get it."

His lyrics are so bad.. i cant even listen to his music, it just makes me feel stupid and it seems so pointless listening to some guy singing about girls, cars, money and drugs.. ffs. kanyes lyrics are horrible? and that comes from someone who likes 50 cent? oh god. He sings about real stuff, and life. amazing artist.

And I know 50 used to rap about real stuff.. I remember the song "many men" or whatever.. love the bit where he says "i dont cry no more, dont look to the sky no more..". he actually made descent music back then. well, some of it.
