Are there any places in North America that look like this?

I want to live in a place like the pictures below, just open grass and the wind blowing. Kind of like the places in the vidoe game Flower on PSN. Anyone know any locations in North America like the pictures below?

Go to the prairies in Canada during the spring.

The WinXP default wallpaper, called Bliss, was a picture taken in Sonoma County, California. The central plain states still have alot of high prairie that looks pretty similar to that as well.

Don't let the central states fool you. I live in Oklahoma, and it's not the Green State. Kansas is just as ugly as Oklahoma.

I've seen a lot of places like that in central North Dakota. In fact, most of the state is a lot like that.
