Are there people still out there who actually like Will Ferrell?

He may have started out funny but he is not really working on expanding his questionable talent. He's always playing a dummy, or a drunk, or anyone that needs to be loud or obnoxious a lot.

His last movie was intended for the silverscreen but turned out to be destined for dvd and blu ray. (semi-pro) too bad cause other than him, I've always respected Andre 3000's and Woody Harrelsons work.

We all know "step brothers" is gonna blow.

I liked him in Anchor Man and that may really be it, I didnt see what was so good about him in Old School, his Cowbell skit was pretty funny, but hell Christopher Walken was in it too.

And I've never cared to watch any of his other crap despite the superstars he's managed to work with.

Only movie I'm interested in seeing is Stranger Than Fiction only cause it seems to be more of a drama, but Ferrell got casted cause he yells and has proven that time and time again.

I could go on forever. Bottom line is

Will Ferrell Sucks

lol. I know about 40 people who hate his movies just of the top of my head. Will Ferrel essentially plays the same disgusting character in all of his movies. There so many people in show biz funnier than ferrell

I dunno man, tonnes of market research is done before the release of a movie to help determine whether or not it will be worth the investment. There's a reason why Semi Pro never made it to theaters, producers had no faith in it.

The funny thing is it did make it to theaters, and it was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen.

It did make it to theaters. And Will Ferrel didn't write that, so I'm not sure why you're mentioning it...

He was best on SNL and in Anchorman. In fact, he is one of my favorite SNL actors ever and Anchorman is one of my favorite comedies of this decade. Talladega Nights and Blades of Glory were enjoyable, but not nearly his best. Stranger Than Fiction was surprisingly a good movie, but also not his best. I missed Semi-Probecause of school. I will see Step Brothers as soon as possible.

So, overall, I still have faith in his acting ability. Now, Mike Myers is a different story...

I love Will Ferrel. Anchorman is my favourite comedy ever, and Blades of Glory and Old School are both great movies. Taladega Nights wasn't as good, but still great. The only film of his that really let me down (aside from the stuff which werent his project like Bewitched and Stranger than Fiction) was Semi Pro, which was crap. But i put that down mostly to a low budget and a man directing for the first time (and hopefully the last).

Sorry, but Ben Stiller just annoyed the crap out of me in that movie. His voice was so irritating.

I hate him whenever he's the lead in a movie, he does a horrible job, except in Semi-Pro, which I found hilarious. He's best as a supporting actor (Zoolander) or if there is another lead (Roxbury).TheManOfChoice
