Are there websites that are better than gamespot?

I don't know any websites that are better than gamespot. Can someone name a few websites that are wellknown?

We're not allowed to say bad things about Gamespot on here. They're watching us all the time. ;)

The only other sites that I frequent are Facebook, Digg and IMDB (as well as Toronto FC's site). You OT'ers have won me over though.cheeselover

Well the forums are some of the best, but the site itself isnt even a quarter good/credible as it used to be back in the golden days...check out Giant Bomb...its got alot of the old/good Gamespot writers

GameSpot is awesome. The only awesome game site I've ever been to, however. I don't know if any other awesome places like this exist on the net.

I wouldn't consider it better but the forums at Gametrailers are similar to that of Gamespot, and you're allowed to swear. Their reviews are better as well.

Well if there was a better gaming webstie than GS I would likely be there and not here.

gamespot has best forums and navigation, but I prefer ign for news and reviews and such

As much as I think Gamespot definately needs improvements, there's no doubt that gamespot has the best game database.

Surely there may be better reviews and news elsewhere, sometimes I think gamespot is a little sloppy about their reviews.

I got to IGN and Giant Bomb for game news and gaming podcasts, but as far as forums go, this Off Topic forum is the best. Truly the pinnacle of the internet.

Gamespot is the only place to be!

But, if you must know about other gaming sites...

Ign comes to mind, though they are nowhere as good as gamespot.
