WTF is wrong with this country
A movie with a rating of 09 at rotten tomatoe does better than another movie ...which is two movies for the price of one that has a rating of 81

because "Are we done yet" is a family movie, therefore the entire family can go see it. Grindhouse is rated R correct? not as many ppl can see it.

Enough people can see grindhouse look at 300 its made about 300 million world wide Made 100+ million easy in the US (about to hit 200 million in the US) and it came just behind grindhouse this weekend still making 8.8 million .Just makes me sad cause the movie(grindhouse)kicked ass (death proof was kind of lame but the end and all the car chase kicked ass)

I will say that Grindhouse made a mistake releasing during Easter holiday when most families are going to the movies. But the boxoffice is a sad comment on the tastes of the American audience.

300 has made that but its been out for about a month and a half now.Granted 300 had a better opening but it didn' have the competiton Grindhouse has.

how is it exploiive?

Grindhouse is all violence and sex. The movies are merely a throwback to grindhouse double features which they made movies that were heavy on violence and sex and pretty much nothing else. It is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard, except for maybe a woman with a gun for a leg....

grindhouse, 3hours, less showtimes. are we done yet; everyone can see that movie. grindhouse had a lot of teenagers sneaking into it. my friend works at pacific theatres & said security threw out at least a dozen kids per showing.

Grindhouse really was not all that good. Deathproof just made people leave the threater. You have QT fans saying the payoff was great(I agree)...But at the same time it does not make up for 70minutes of boring crappy talking. It was not even interesting dialog like in some of his other movies...It was just plain boring. Planet Terror was a fun ride. Gave us what we expected and wanted. We all know the previews were the best^^ And it is like you expect alot of people to go and sit through a 3hour movie min...Then add on previews and everything.
