Me cooking could only lead to one of two scenarios; 1) Kitchen set ablaze or 2) Whole house set ablaze. I'm hopeless at it.
A few years ago, I nearly microwaved an insta-burger (30 seconds in the microwave usually)... for 30 minutes.:lol: For some reason I thought that the numbers on the dial were for seconds not minutes.:oops:
Luckily after a few minutes someone pointed out that my burger was spending too much time tanning in the microwave.
I'm a decent cook.

I've never seen a place with fresh pasta. I've made my own (with my parents) before.yep, i think you can get it from some bakers too

you only get it in some places (mainly italy)and some restraunts will sell it to you to cook yourself

Could give you my standard recipe for dried Pasta with spicy meat.What you need is:
Salt
Butter
Grinded meat
Dried Spagetti
Various spices
Taco spice powder.
Step 1. Pour warm water into a pot and add a small teaspoon of salt into the water, let it boil up.
Additionally fry the grinded meat in a pan, you can choose to use oil or butter to prevent the meat from being burned, let it fry until it looks done and turn down the heat.
Step 2. Get the taco spice powder and sprinkle it over while you also add a cup of water into the pan, the meat with suck up the spice filled water and will make the spices seep seemingly into the core of the meat. Add Chilli powder if you want it more spicy. However don't go overboard and from time to time do a test taste to ensure you don't have to litte or too much spice. Let it fry on very little heat and focus mainly on the spagetti, you might want to move the meat about from time to time just to prevent it from burning itself.
Step 3. Place the dried spagetti into the pot with now boiling warm water, I usually hold them vertically and distrubute them around the edges of the pot in a clockwise handmovement, stir gently and let them take their time to go underwater. Normally it takes betwenn 10-15 minutes for it to get done but if you have a fork then you can fish one up and taste to see if it's still crunchy or soft to chew. When you have the desired softness of the spagetti then pour the water out and put a small lump of butter onto the spagetti, mix it around so the butter melts and seeps through and voila.
All you need to do now is to serve it and enjoy it, quick and easy to make and although not as healthy as a salad it's more healthy then McDonalds.

Then again, I'm not a huge pasta eater, so if I'm cooking it, I just make sure the sauce is perfect and the pasta has just the tiniest bit of crunch/body.

where abouts?
Sorento is very nice (opposite Naples on bay of Naples), it's like naples but has much more charecter, Rome is nice too but the torist area is pretty small and you have to get up early if you want to visit the vatican. Venice is great too though you'ld best have money cause even though most of italy is expensive Venice is quite a bit more though it's muych more uintresting than anywhere else in the country as everything has been made into some sort of boat, you get garbage boats and such.

Sounds nice, sorta like spicey bolagnase, i don't think taco spice is available round here but i think i can get fajita spice mix which should do.
If you but a drop of olive oil in with your pasta whilst it's boiling and stir it a bit your pasta won't stick and it's healthier than using butter. Also i never put salt into my pasta, never see why i should as it tastes fine without it and can make whatever sauce you add taste wors.
Usually i just do some bacon and pasta simpley then make up a sauce from some tinned tomatoes, fryed off onions and tabasco. Then simpley chop up the bacon and thrrow it in with the sauce and pasta.
but as you chew it's like you feel how they seemingly give in to the pressure of the teeth and blend with the spices, meat and sauce.As long as the damn thing doesn't dissolve into mush, I'm happy. I'd rather barely cooked over overcooked. But, as I said, I'm not really into pasta much.

I suppose it is kinda like a ritual but it works from to get the desired type of Spagetti goodness that I like, I can't stand crunchy spagetti. I like them to be still in one piece but as you chew it's like you feel how they seemingly give in to the pressure of the teeth and blend with the spices, meat and sauce.

Cripes. Glad I'm not going after all. I can't help but be cheap. :PFor the most part, yes.
It's one of those things that if I don't keep it up I lose a lot of techique and have to relearn in order to master a particular dish or style. For instance, by the end of the summer I am master of the grill but rusty over the stove. By the start of summer it will be the opposite.
But as far as breakfast goes. There is none better. No brag. Just fact.
