Which do you usually buy, individual songs, or full albums?
I almost always buy the full album, love having the full package....plus most of the bands I listen to don't make many bad songs.:P

People buy music? :P
Anyways, Im a song person.
Its pretty rarely there is an entire album where I like atleast 90 % of the songs.
Individual songs - I am yet to find an album that I liked every song of. Most of the music I have has only one or two tracks.
Out of curiosity, what kind of music do you listen to? I ask because most people who only like 1 or 2 songs by a band just haven't found really good bands...:PIndividual songs - I am yet to find an album that I liked every song of. Most of the music I have has only one or two tracks.

I've never purchased songs on iTunes and I don't plan on it. $0.99 is expensive :|CathanNo it's not. :|
I'm definitely an album person. If I can't get into a band/artist's entire album then I'll stop listening to them.
Music was meant to be enjoyed as a whole experience in an album. Yeah I will listen to idividual songs I feel like listening too every now and then, but I mainly listen to full albums.
im an album person.

Yeah, I prefer albums as well. That's why I'm really into prog rock or conceptual albums...I like albums that tell a story.
Concept albums FTW:PMost definatly album. Being a huge prog fan, you kinda have to have the whole album. :P

Albums. You can listen to a song just so many times before becoming tired. Albums have much longer longevity. Track order will do wonders for an individual song. Songs leading up to it will make it sound better.
Well since I actually pay for my online music, I'm more of a song person myself. There really aren't that many albums out there where all the songs are worth listening to, or even half of them. I do buy albums when they're really good, but I mostly just get the songs I like.

Plus prog tends to have a lot of variety, so it's not like listening to the same song for 45 minutes, and then the album is over. Melodic death metal is kinda like that. Not much song variety, but they don't make really long albums, so it's tolerable.

Song variety is something thats never really mattered much to me TBH:P Unless its something like Nickelback or AC/DC where every song is almost literaly exactly the same that is.Definitely. Then hearing the individual song outside of the overall experience makes it sound kind of strange.Albums. You can listen to a song just so many times before becoming tired. Definitely an album person, I've never bought a single song, and by that I mean one song alone. All the music on my Ipod are on albums, and they're all full.zeppelin_64I'm the same way:P I only own two single songs, Light Of Day, Day Of Darkness by Green Carnation...which is an entire album in it self, and Head Crusher by Megadeth...which I only got cause it was free:P
