I've done a fair bit of traveling on planes, but I wouldn't consider myself a geek. If the movie is anything like Cars, I'll skip it. Thankfully my son is too young to get into this yet.

I was around aircraft a lot while I was peacekeeping, and I now work flight ops for an airline. I wouldn't call myself a "geek" only because I doubt I would qualify as one :P

I doubt I'll watch that movie tho. Never been big on disney flicks, and I don't have kids, so it's probably a pass.

I'm very much into planes and flight, yeah. I've always wanted to become a pilot actually, especially in the USAF. But my eyesight has pretty much destroyed that dream as far as I can tell. So now my plan is to design or build them for a living instead (majoring in Aerospace Engineering).LZ71

I had a class in middle school where we were building small airplanes out of wood. I enjoyed it. Definitely gonna see this movie.

I still think aero would have been fun. 

My brother was always into planes, I tended to be much more of a tank aficionado.

You don't care if we get killed in terrorist attacks. So why do you post here if you feel that way? Most of the users here are American.

I'd like to be but unfortunately a cursory knowledge of European WWII planes is the most I can stretch to.

I'd say, yes. I've been around aircraft since I was a kid. My hobbies revolved around aircraft, be it airshows, air races (I'm from Nevada), photography, books and magazines, PC flight sims, scale models, or the shows I watch (The History Channel's Dogfights).

As for the Disney movie....... We'll see.

Since I've been reminded of aircraft........ Time to post some.
