You should really have an in-between. Because some times I'm like "I can't wait, this is going too be great!!!:D", but then other times I'm like "fat chance." so I can't really vote because I'm a little bit of both.
I believe in hoping for the best and planning for the worst. So while I might hope to do well in my job (being pessimistic just doesn't get you anywhere), I still save my pennies.
I'd like to think that I'm a pessimistic realist, but my pessimism takes over at times. I try to be logical and level-headed....and honestly rather stoic, but it doesn't always work.
Generally speaking I would consider myself a realist. An optimist would consider me a pessimist while pessimists tend to find me optimistic.
Always looking on the bright side and hoping for the best generally opens you up to being used, stepped on, and disappointed. While always expecting the worst from everything just makes you lousy company and eventually saps your will to live. I find being in the middle grants perspective neither extreme can claim to have.
Meh, I'm more of a pessimist, but I'm kinda neutral. When people ask me do I think of a glass half full or empty. I usually say I dont care as long as I get to drink it.
I'm a realist. I look at things how they are and take them as is, no sugar coating necessary. Plan for the worst and hope for the best in every situation.
I would say pessimist. But, it is something thats blatant enough for me to realize on my own. Everyone I know insists i am tho, apparently, I always think the worst will happen.
and, I mean, come on...the glass is SO half empty.
