Are you considered a loser if....

you havent had 1 girl friend and your in highschool.

Some friends were teasing me and one of them said "Kevin you will never get a girlfriend." I asked him why he said "Because your a nerdy asian who plays video games and luvs them " There not racist because i make fun of my own heritage myself :P Well i said that doesnt effect the outcome if i get a girlfriend or not. He said "How many girlfriends have you had?" I said 0. He laughed like crazy.Now i took that part offending.He said your life would be over if you dont get one. My parents have thought me..School/Work/ Art first then girlfriend. I dont know its starting to annoy me. I always think about it during class and im not paying attention at all.

I don't think it does. Everyone has a different lifestyle. If you don't get a GF in high school, then you just don't get one. Doesn't mean anything is wrong with you.

I'm 20 and and asian and I have a never had a girl friend in highschool. So I try not to let it bother too much. It will happen the time comes. However... I still get jealous/upset/angry(or all 3 at the same time) when I see one of my friends with their girlfriend. Why can't I have nice things in life?!:cry:

I must be a loser then, I'm 19 and never been kissed or had a bf. What's the rush? Doing it simply for the sake of it? When you buy a house, do you buy a house that you can afford and that's right for you? Or do you go out and buy a house simply for the sake of it to blend in. No it doesn't. Girlfriends at High School are more often than not short term relationships, and not really of any worth. I'm 18 so I've finished school/college, but I've only had a few girlfriends - nothing special to be honest.

There's no general rule for how many girlfriends you must have. If you're 35 and never had a girlfriend, then I'd be considering the "loser" status.

There's no problem with going without a girlfriend in highschool. Most people I know have never had a girlfriend.

However, if you go through highschool without ever talking to girls, not even as friends, that's where problems might come up.

I find it really sad that so many teenagers take peer pressure so close to heart. The word "loser" is a completely immature word to use. I don't know why you even keep those types of people as your friends. You are NOT a loser if you haven't had a girlfriend in highschool, you are NOT a loser if you are FIFTY and have never had a girlfriend. 95% of highschool relationships don't even last anyway and you'll just be left wishing you never even dated that person.

Then I guess I'm a loser too. I'm a freshman in college and have never had a real boyfriend, and I don't consider it one of my priorities at the moment either.
